NIC Students Host Mad Men Themed Wine Festival

 

Join NIC Tourism and Hospitality Students for Mad About Wine, a 50's-era Mad Men themed Wine Festival in Campbell River Friday, November 20 at NIC's Campbell River campus.

The highly anticipated annual wine festival brings together more than 20 wineries, distilleries and distributers from Vancouver Island and beyond for an evening of wine tasting, hors d'oevres, wine and cheese seminars and live entertainment in a Mad Men themed night

A silent auction, door prizes and complementary shuttle in the Campbell River area will also be available.

Tickets are on sale now at Merecroft Village Liquor Store, the Royal Coachman Liquor Store, Gourmet Essentials, MetroLiquor - both Timberline Village and Discovery Harbour stores - and at the North Island College's bookstores at the Campbell River and Comox Valley campuses.

• family physician,
• pharmacy or
• public health unit 

All other British Columbians are able to receive a flu shot for a fee. Contact your family physician or pharmacist to find out about the cost and book an appointment.

Island Health flu clinics are typically scheduled from October to March to coincide with influenza season.  Visit www.islandfluclinics.ca in the fall for a list of free public health flu clinics by area.
